Anderson PowerPoles / Harbor Freight Crimper

Post by ke5nub » Tue May 20, 2014 1:39 pm

Does anyone have any first hand experience using the Harbor Freight Ratcheting Crimping Tool with Anderson Power Poles? I have read that they work just fine, but I would prefer to hear from someone that I know. They have two different styles of crimpers. I am asking about part number 97420 that can be found here :

I hope to be on the net tonight. If so, I will ask about this during the tech talk portion of the net.

Thanks,

I don't own one but read some of the reviews. Didn't see anything about the poer pole connectors. It only costs ten bucks, so you might get one, try it out, and if it doesn't work you could take it back. Keep the receipt.

For what it might be worth, I have one of the real ones, and you are welcomed to use it.
