I had a box that had been unopen sense we moved from the DC area. In it I found a MFJ 1270B TNC. Fired up a Terminal program and it still works, so I got the Packet Cable for my FT3000M and a Serial to USB cable for the Computer. I now have the FT3000M on APRS. It is strictly on the Radio. No Internet. Working really great.
