HAM RADIO IN THE PARK AND FOX HUNT
The Sachse Amateur Radio Club’s combined “Ham Radio in the Park” and “Fox Hunt” will be on Saturday, April 29th
, from 10am until 3pm. Come out and help build “tape measure” yagi antennas. Then we will try them out with a Fox
Hunt. Be sure to bring your HT and join the fun! We'll have hotdogs, chips, drinks and a potluck of what ever people want to bring. So please bring your favorite food to go with hotdogs and stuff so that we can have a picnic in the park. I like brownies myself. You can find more details at http://www.sachseradio.org/calendar. Also there will be a demonstration of AREDN (Amateur Radio Emergency Data Network) nodes. You can find more AREDN information at http://www.aredn.org/.
